At Cochran Automotive in Germantown, Maryland, we take the choice of who should service and repair your vehicle as seriously as you do. If we wouldn’t have someone working on our own cars, we don’t employ them to perform work on yours. Our philosophy has always been to provide expert maintenance and repair services with a high level of customer care. While we aim to provide fair pricing for the work we do, that does not come at the expense of cut-rate client relations. We treat our patrons well, and we will not stand for deceptive practices.
You wouldn’t seek medical care from someone without a degree and state board licensing, would you? Certainly not! When you need a check-up or you’re sick, you go to a doctor who has proper education and credentials. So why would you take your car, truck, SUV, or van to a self-proclaimed backyard mechanic who may or may not know what your vehicle needs or how to fix it? Rely instead on our team at Cochran Automotive. We hire only ASE certified auto technicians who have verifiable experience and proven performance. This assures you that the person working on your car has the knowledge to understand your needs or your vehicle’s problems, make solid service or repair recommendations, and explain that advice to you. That same technician has the ability then to apply the knowledge in a way that allows for efficient and timely car care. That saves you precious time and hard-earned money.
In addition to these capable staff members, we also have two ASE Master Technicians. This designation indicates that the recipient not only demonstrated the mastery necessary for certification but also passed a series of stringent tests and completed a minimum of two years’ on-the-job experience. These expert mechanics also renew their master status every five years, ensuring that their knowledge and skills always stay current. Thus, the Cochran team is prepared to diagnose any automotive issue, regardless of whether the problem is simple or complex and the car classic or modern.
