It all started with one boy who happened to love cars, and it turned into a passion for people, community, responsible business practices, and, of course, automotive service. Ed Cochran adored cars as a kid and began working on them while still in high school. After spending ten years working for dealerships and five in an independently owned business, he opened Cochran Automotive in Germantown, Maryland, in 2003. He made a commitment to offer great service in a personable atmosphere at a reasonable price. He has developed trust and loyalty by following the biblical principle that “a good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold” (Proverbs 22:1).
Even after more than 35 years in the automotive business, Eddie Cochran continues to uphold his promise in daily business operations. Cochran Automotive provides friendly, caring service and fair pricing to all customers. Not only do employed automotive technicians have to be knowledgeable and certified, but they also have to be honest in their dealings with customers. Thus, you can be assured that the information you receive is accurate and reliable. This is how friends or family should be treated, and clients deserve the same respect. Our employees take pride in going the extra mile for vehicle owners. From explaining a repair to dropping a busy mom off at work to installing new brake pads, the Cochran team is here for you! Call (301) 972-4120 or drop by 19961 Aircraft Road today to see how pleasant maintaining any make or model vehicle can be.
We believe that a responsible business rallies around the community that supports it. Therefore, we participate in activities throughout the year that bolster the greater Germantown area. For example, we host an annual Police Appreciation Day, providing our local officers with breakfast or lunch and a free oil change for their personal mode of transportation. It’s our way each August of serving those who protect our community every day. We also host a car show each year to raise money for Operation Second Chance. We thank our veterans from all military branches and their families for their sacrifices that preserve our freedom. In partnership with Shepherd’s Table, we donate one Thanksgiving meal to help feed homeless people for every car we service between November 1 and Thanksgiving. Finally, we serve as a Toys for Tots collection site where we and our customers donate Christmas presents for children in Montgomery County. We would love to have you join us for one of our community events! The Cochran Automotive staff can make a difference in how your car performs. Together, we can make a difference for everyone in the community we all share.
After years of working as one of Cochran’s highly-skilled technicians, an unfortunate injury forced Nick off the line.
